Many North American pilgrims combine Umrah in Makkah and Madinah with Ziyarat in Iraq in a single journey. Here is how a combined trip works.
Flying to the Middle East from North America is the biggest cost and the longest part of any pilgrimage. Combining Umrah with Iraq Ziyarat means one long-haul journey for two sacred trips, and more days at the holy sites for the time spent traveling.
The order can be reversed depending on flights and visas.
You will need two visas: a Saudi visa for Umrah and an Iraq e-visa. US citizens need an Iraq e-visa before travel (see our visa guide). Canadian and other passport holders should check the rules for their passport; we guide every pilgrim through both applications.
Yes. KBM Tours arranges combined Umrah and Iraq Ziyarat trips on request.
We suggest at least 12 to 14 days.
A Saudi visa for Umrah and an Iraq visa. Requirements depend on your passport; we guide you through both.
