Jabal al-Nour and the Cave of Hira
The mountain where the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Prophet ﷺ.
Umrah / Masjid al-Haram
Makkah al-Mukarramahالمسجد الحرام
The most sacred masjid on earth and the home of the Kaaba, the qiblah of every Muslim in every prayer. This is where your Umrah is performed, and where KBM Tours pilgrims spend four nights a short walk from its gates.

At the center of Masjid al-Haram stands the Kaaba, the House of Allah, raised by Prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismail, peace be upon them. Millions of pilgrims circle it every year, and a single prayer here carries a reward like no other.
For many of our pilgrims, the first sight of the Kaaba is the moment they have waited for all their lives. Our team walks with the group into the Haram for that first moment, and through every step of the Umrah that follows.
Umrah takes a few hours to perform. Before you travel, we explain every step in our online preparation session, and in Makkah our team performs it together with you.
Bathe, put on the Ihram garments and make your intention for Umrah at the Miqat. On our group this is Dhul Hulayfah, on the way from Madinah.
From the Miqat onwards, recite the Talbiyah: Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk. Here I am, O Allah, here I am.
Circle the Kaaba seven times, starting from the line of the Black Stone, with the Kaaba on your left.
Pray two rak’ahs near Maqam Ibrahim if there is space, then drink the blessed water of Zamzam.
Walk seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwah, remembering Hajar’s search for water for her son Ismail.
Men shave or shorten their hair, and women trim a small lock. Your Umrah is complete, and the restrictions of Ihram are lifted.
Our group leader points out each of these on your first visit, so you can find your way on your own for the rest of your stay.

The House of Allah, draped in the black and gold kiswah, and the open courtyard around it where Tawaf is performed day and night.
Set in the eastern corner of the Kaaba, it marks the start and end of every circuit of Tawaf.
The station of Prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him, near the Kaaba, where pilgrims pray after Tawaf.
The semicircular area beside the Kaaba. Praying inside it is like praying inside the Kaaba itself.
The two hills, now inside the masjid, between which pilgrims walk for Sa’i.
The blessed water that has flowed since the time of Hajar and Ismail, available everywhere in the Haram.
On our group Umrah, one morning is set aside for a guided tour of the sites where the story of Islam began. We are back at the hotel by lunch.
